As 2024 closes and 2025 begins, we at Quirky Frog are reflecting on what has been an exciting and eventful year for our team and our clients. From workshops and launches to prestigious conferences and awards, the year was packed with moments that allowed us to showcase our expertise in social media, PR, and marketing in the medical aesthetics industry. In this blog, we’ll take you through the highlights of our journey in 2024, celebrating the milestones, events, and partnerships that made the year so memorable.
January
The year began with an important milestone for us. In January, we held our very first Quirky Frog Client Social Media Workshop. Social media has always been a core element of our approach to brand-building and content creation, so hosting this event was a natural step. The workshop brought together our clients, giving them practical strategies to boost their business and engagement.
We delved into the ins and outs of content creation, explored audience engagement strategies, and shared the latest insights into digital marketing trends. By focusing on personalised approaches to branding and visibility, we set the stage for the year ahead, providing our clients with the tools they needed to succeed in the competitive medical aesthetics landscape. By the end, our clients were buzzing with ideas, and we felt like proud parents sending them off into the digital world, armed and ready.
February
February was a whirlwind of activity. One of the key highlights was our involvement in IMCAS 2024 in Paris, where we supported Deleo in the much-anticipated launch of their revolutionary Cellution device. This international event gave us the chance to showcase our expertise in event marketing. We ensured that Deleo’s brand was front and centre, attracting attention from top-tier practitioners and professionals as we managed their social coverage across the 3 conference days.
In addition to IMCAS, we were also present at several high-profile events, including the Menopause in Aesthetics 2024 conference and the stunning Alma Studios HQ Launch Event. These events allowed us to get stuck into the new developments in the industry, network with our fabulous industry partners and offer our assistance in content creation where needed.
February wasn’t done just yet. The month also saw us at the exclusive PLIM X Sofwave event at Sexy Fish, a glamorous gathering where PLIM Finance teamed up with Sofwave to connect nurses and doctors with their innovative devices and services. The event was a resounding success, filled with key opinion leaders and influencers in the industry, further solidifying our role in influencer marketing and brand-building.
March
March was a big month for Quirky Frog. One of the most notable moments was our co-founder and creative director, Lianne, taking the stage at ACE 2024. As part of a panel discussion on PR in medical aesthetics, Lianne shared insights on the evolving landscape of media relations, the power of storytelling, and the importance of building long-term brand trust in an industry as personal as aesthetics.
We also supported several clients at ACE 2024, where their innovative work and pioneering approaches were highlighted in educational talks and workshops. Later that weekend, we were thrilled to be finalists at the prestigious Aesthetic Awards 2024, a moment of pride for our entire team. The recognition underscored our commitment to delivering excellence in PR and branding for our clients. We also celebrated some fabulous wins and commendations across the board for so many of our talented clients.
The month ended with a trip to Monaco, where we supported Deleo and Dermafocus at AMWC 2024. This international conference, known for its cutting-edge discussions on cosmetic procedures and aesthetic technology, provided us with a global platform to highlight our clients’ work. Our involvement in such prestigious events reinforced our ability to bring brand awareness to a wider audience.
April
April was a month dedicated to refining our skills and pushing boundaries. We attended the Epic Content Masterclass, where we focused on elevating our content creation and social media strategies. The workshop was an incredible opportunity to learn from industry leaders, allowing us to improve how we craft compelling narratives for our clients and drive lead generation through innovative digital marketing tactics.
The month also saw us at the luxurious Corinthia Hotel in London for the UK launch of Cellution. Supporting Deleo during this high-profile event highlighted our ability to manage brand launches and plan exclusive events with the utmost attention to detail. It was an honour to help such a renowned brand expand their presence in the UK, with a focus on brand visibility and influencer engagement.
May
May was another busy month, filled with important events in the aesthetics calendar. We attended the Aesthetic Medicine Conference & Awards, a key industry event that brought together professionals from across the sector. The conference was an excellent opportunity to connect with clinicians, brand ambassadors, and industry leaders, helping our clients expand their networks and strengthen their brand positioning.
Another standout moment in May was Lianne’s trip to Zurich for the PLIM Swiss Launch. It was exciting to witness PLIM Finance expand into new international markets, and we were proud to support them every step of the way. As we helped manage the social media around this launch, we leveraged our international marketing expertise to ensure the brand’s message resonated with Swiss consumers.
June
June was particularly special as we celebrated Quirky Frog’s 5th anniversary! The milestone was marked with a lively celebration, bringing together our clients, partners, and team. Over the past five years, we’ve had the pleasure of working with some of the most innovative and inspiring brands in the medical aesthetics industry. This celebration was a reminder of how far we’ve come and the exciting journey that lies ahead.
Throughout the month, we also continued our focus on helping clients with digital marketing, PR strategies, and brand awareness campaigns, always looking for new ways to innovate and stay ahead of industry trends.
July
In July, we attended the Dermafocus Northern Symposium, a highly informative event that brought together industry experts from across the UK. The symposium allowed us to deepen our knowledge of regenerative medicine, and the latest aesthetic treatments.
Supporting our client Dermafocus at this event also gave us the opportunity to enhance their social media presence and build brand engagement through targeted marketing efforts. It was an excellent example of how we integrate strategies and content marketing to boost brand visibility.
August
August was an exciting time for Quirky Frog, not only because of the amazing events we were part of but also due to the introduction of three new team members to our squad. As we continue to grow, bringing in fresh talent was a significant step toward expanding our expertise and ensuring we can offer even more creative solutions for our clients. Each new member brings unique skills to the table, enhancing our capabilities in content marketing and digital strategy.
Alongside these internal developments, we were also thrilled to support the BTL X PLIM event. This collaboration between two major players in the aesthetics industry was a highlight of the month. The event showcased the latest in aesthetic treatments and focused on patient care, giving us a chance to demonstrate our proficiency in event marketing and brand building.
September
September was all about new beginnings. We were thrilled to support our client Joolia Gilvey as she launched her new clinic, The Clinic Norwich. This launch was a significant moment for Joolia, and we were proud to be by her side, managing the socials, PR and ensuring a successful debut for her new venture.
The month also saw us attend the Lutronic Event and the BCAM Autumn Symposium, both of which were invaluable in deepening our understanding of the latest trends in aesthetic technology and patient care. These events reinforced our commitment to staying at the cutting edge of the industry and ensuring our clients benefit from the latest innovations.
October
October was packed with events. We attended CCR 2024, a key industry conference, and supported our clients Alma and Dermafocus at their joint event in Leeds. These events were vital in keeping us connected with the latest industry developments and gave us the chance to explore new strategies for our clients.
Finally, we ended the month with an exciting internal meeting with Talent Loop, exploring the work styles of the team so that we can work in synergy together and provide our clients with the best services possible!
November
November saw us attend some of the most prestigious events in the aesthetics calendar. We started with RAMCE 2024, followed by the BABTAC Awards and the Journal of Aesthetic Nursing Conference, where we supported Deleo. These events provided the perfect platform for us to engage with industry leaders and showcase our clients’ expertise.
We also attended the glamorous Beauty Awards alongside PLIM Finance, who were sponsoring the evening. November was a month filled with recognition, recognition, and incredible moments of pride for our clients and our team.
December
Finally, we rounded off the year with some much-needed team bonding. December was a time to reflect, celebrate, and have a bit of fun. We had our Christmas Party followed by an afternoon of QF awards, quizzes, and (of course) a Secret Santa. After such a busy year, it was great to take a breather and enjoy some downtime with the team. But knowing us, we’re already cooking up big plans for 2025.
As we close the chapter on 2024, we’re already looking forward to what 2025 has in store. With a jam-packed year of events, conferences, and launches, we’re eager to continue our mission of elevating brand awareness, driving media engagement, and pushing the boundaries of digital marketing and PR in the medical aesthetics space.
