Quirky Frog

The CCR conference is always one of the biggest dates in the calendar for the medical aesthetics industry, and this year was no exception. From inspiring talks and panel discussions to brand showcases and networking with the best in the business, CCR 2025 was a chance for the Quirky Frog team to connect, learn, and support our incredible clients on one of the industry’s biggest stages.

As a marketing and PR agency dedicated to clinics, practitioners, and aesthetics brands, our focus at events like CCR is two-fold: supporting our clients and making sure we’re ahead of the curve when it comes to industry trends. This year, the energy at ExCeL London was electric, with conversations spanning regenerative aesthetics, social media strategies, patient safety, and more. And of course, our very own team had some exciting moments too.

Sinéad Takes the Stage at CCR

One of the standout moments for us was seeing our Senior PR Lead, Sinéad Gorman, deliver her first-ever talk at CCR. At 10am on Thursday in the InPractice Theatre, Sinéad shared her expertise on “How to Launch a New Treatment to Your Clinic Using Social Media and Marketing.”

Launching a new treatment is one of the most common challenges our clients face. Clinics often invest heavily in new devices or products, but without the right marketing strategy, it’s hard to generate enough buzz to make the investment pay off. Sinéad’s session broke this down into an actionable roadmap: from conducting market research and building pre-launch excitement, to creating engaging social media campaigns and maintaining momentum after launch.

The turnout was fantastic, with a packed audience of clinic owners, aesthetic nurses, and industry professionals eager to learn how to build visibility and ROI into their treatment launches. For us, it was a proud moment to see Sinéad sharing the strategies we use day in, day out with our clients and to see so many people leaving the theatre feeling inspired and ready to put those tips into action.

Meet the Mentor

But that wasn’t Sinéad’s only role at CCR. On Friday morning, she also took part in Meet the PR Expert, a dedicated session where delegates had the chance to book one-on-one time with industry experts. This was an incredible opportunity to connect directly with clinic owners and practitioners who wanted advice tailored to their businesses.

From questions about PR and media features to advice on social media strategies for clinic growth, the conversations were wide-ranging but always came back to one key theme: visibility. Clinics want to be seen and trusted by patients, by peers, and by the press. And that’s exactly what we love helping them achieve.

Supporting Our Clients

Of course, CCR is about so much more than our own talks. We were there to support our clients too, many of whom had huge moments on stage.

At the Sofwave stand, we worked with the brand to amplify their presence and connect with delegates interested in the power of non-invasive skin lifting . Sofwave is one of the most exciting technologies in the aesthetics space right now, and their stand was buzzing with interest throughout the conference.

Another highlight of CCR 2025 was the Regenerative Aesthetics with Sofwave session, led by Dr Munir Somji and supported by Sofwave. This talk explored how Sofwave’s cutting-edge SUPERB™ ultrasound technology is transforming the landscape of non-invasive treatments. By stimulating collagen, elastin, and hyaluronic acid production, the technology offers natural restoration and rejuvenation without the need for surgery. What made this session particularly timely was the discussion of how regenerative approaches can address the aesthetic impact of GLP-1 medications, such as muscle atrophy and volume loss. Combined with Pure Impact, which targets GLP-1-related changes through muscle stimulation, this approach represents a comprehensive solution for both facial and body rejuvenation, pointing towards a future where regenerative aesthetics becomes the cornerstone of treatment plans.

We were also proud to support our client Amy Bird, who joined Mr Andrew Rankin and Dr Catherine Fairris for the panel on the Government Licensing Scheme: Implications for the Aesthetics Sector. This was one of the most important discussions of the entire conference, addressing the new regulatory framework announced for medical aesthetics in the UK. The session unpacked what the government’s licensing scheme could mean for practitioners and patients, highlighting both opportunities and concerns. Amy emphasised the need for education, accountability, and raising standards, while the panel as a whole encouraged practitioners to engage with the process and help shape the future of regulation. For clinics and practitioners, this was a wake-up call: licensing isn’t just coming, it’s here and now is the time to make your voice heard and prepare for change.

Sharon Bennett, co-owner of Harrogate Aesthetics and one of the industry’s most respected voices, chaired a session that brought authority and gravitas to discussions around standards and best practice. Amy Bird, owner of KAST Aesthetics and the new Chair of BAMAN, took to the stage again to give a thought-provoking talk on regenerative aesthetics, exploring how the sector is evolving and why education is so critical. And Caroline Hall, owner of R&R Aesthetics, delved into the future of exosomes and how these cutting-edge treatments could reshape the way we think about skin health and rejuvenation.

Moments like these are what make CCR so valuable, the chance to hear from experts who are not only shaping the conversation today but also driving the future of aesthetic medicine.

So why does CCR matter so much, and what can clinics take away from it?

For us as an agency, these events are an invaluable way to stay on top of trends and ensure we’re delivering strategies that reflect the very latest in the aesthetics industry. From the rise of regenerative medicine to the demand for patient safety and ethical marketing, CCR gives us a front-row seat to the conversations that matter.

For clinics, attending CCR (or simply following the content that comes out of it) provides fresh ideas, access to thought leaders, and reassurance that the industry is moving towards higher standards and better patient outcomes. It’s also a reminder of the importance of visibility. Being present at events, whether as a speaker, exhibitor, or attendee, adds weight to your brand’s credibility and positions your clinic as part of the wider professional community.

Of course, no event is complete without a bit of team bonding, and CCR 2025 gave us plenty of that too. Whether we were filming reels on the exhibition floor, catching up with clients between sessions, or sharing our takeaways with the team, it was a chance for us to put our own advice into action- showing our personality online, creating authentic content, and building our own visibility within the aesthetics space.

Looking back at our time at CCR, there were a few themes that stood out above everything else. Education never stops. Whether it’s understanding the science behind exosomes or learning how to launch treatments strategically, the best clinics are always investing in knowledge. Visibility is also everything. Speaking at events, being featured in the press, or showing up on social media all play a role in building trust. Patients need to see you before they can choose you.

CCR 2025 reminded us why we love what we do at Quirky Frog: helping clinics, practitioners, and brands tell their story, build trust, and scale their businesses. Whether it was Sinéad’s debut talk, our clients taking centre stage, or the buzz of networking on the exhibition floor, it was an event full of connection, inspiration, and momentum.

And if you missed Sinéad’s talk on how to launch a new treatment to your clinic with social media and marketing, don’t worry. We’ll be sharing more insights across our blogs, newsletters, and social media channels. Or better yet get in touch with us directly, and we’ll walk you through how to build a launch strategy that delivers ROI from day one.

Until then, here’s to another year of growth, visibility, and success in the aesthetics industry.
