Quirky Frog

We’ve officially wrapped up the first quarter of 2025, and what a busy and exciting start to the year it has been for Quirky Frog. From webinars and speaking engagements to major industry events and awards, our team has been buzzing across the aesthetics landscape, supporting our wonderful clients and showcasing our expertise in social media and marketing.

Here’s a recap of what we’ve been up to so far in Q1:

January: A Strong Start to the Year

Lianne Talks Marketing with Dermalux

Kicking off the year, our very own Creative Director, Lianne Sykes, was invited to speak on a webinar with Dermalux about marketing aesthetics devices. Lianne shared valuable insights on how clinics and brands can leverage marketing to promote their devices more effectively, helping them stand out in the crowded aesthetics market. It was a fantastic opportunity to share our expertise and discuss what makes aesthetics marketing so unique.

Instagram’s Grid Layout Change

January also brought a big shift in the social media world, with Instagram updating its grid layout from the traditional square ratio to 1080 x 1350. This change sparked conversations among clinics and brands on how to adjust their content strategy. Here at Quirky Frog, we helped our clients adapt their content and continue to shine on the platform with the new format.

Megan’s Public Speaking Debut with DermaFocus

We were so proud of Megan for her first-ever public speaking event! She was invited to speak about marketing and social media at a DermaFocus event, and she absolutely smashed it. Megan’s insights into social media strategy for aesthetics clinics had the audience hooked, and it was an incredible moment to see her thrive in this new role. Go, Megan! ????

IMCAS 2025: A Global Gathering

Toward the end of the month, Lianne and Megan headed to IMCAS 2025 in Paris. This global event is one of the biggest in the aesthetics industry, bringing together top professionals and brands. We were thrilled to support some of our amazing clients, including DermaFocus, Deleo, Sofwave, and ALLSKIN | Med. It was an action-packed few days of networking, learning, and promoting these fantastic brands. Plus, it’s always a joy to connect with so many familiar faces in the industry. ????

February: Growth, Collaboration, and New Projects

Supporting Dr. Bibi Ghalaie at Medik8 Event

In February, Megan was busy supporting the lovely Dr. Bibi Ghalaie with social media at a Medik8 event at The Gherkin in London. This event brought together professionals to discuss the latest innovations in skincare and aesthetics, and Megan ensured the social media coverage was engaging and impactful. Her ability to capture the essence of the event and keep followers connected online was truly top-notch!

New Projects in the Works at A Content Space

Quirky Frog is constantly evolving, and this February, we took a big step toward expanding our content offerings. Lianne, Georgia, Sinead, and Roan spent a creative day at A Content Space filming videos for social media and working on the first installation of our brand-new podcast (stay tuned for more on that soon!). ????️
Our team is passionate about helping our clients succeed in every way possible, and this podcast will dive deep into the world of marketing, social media, and aesthetics with expert insights and real-world tips.

Faculty Meeting Support with DermaFocus

We rounded off the month by supporting our amazing client, DermaFocus, at their Faculty Meeting. It was a brilliant opportunity to work with some of our lovely clinic owner clients, and we provided social media and marketing support to ensure the event was a hit. These gatherings are vital for sharing knowledge and fostering collaboration within the industry, and we were honored to be part of it.

Mad March: The Big Events Keep Coming!

DermaFocus 5th Birthday Celebration

March kicked off with a huge celebration as DermaFocus marked their 5th birthday! ???? This was such a special milestone for one of our long-standing clients, and we were thrilled to be part of the festivities. The event was filled with great conversations, memories, and of course, cake! We can’t wait to see what the future holds for DermaFocus as they continue to grow and innovate in the aesthetics industry.

Professional Beauty 2025

Next up, Sinead attended Professional Beauty 2025 at the ExCeL in London. This event is a major highlight in the beauty and aesthetics calendar, and we were there to support our client, Deleo UK, at their stand. We also had the pleasure of seeing our lovely Amy Bird speak at the Skin Philosophy Stand. The energy was incredible, and it was fantastic to connect with so many professionals in the industry.

BAMAN Regional Meeting

In mid-March, Lianne and Katey headed to Leeds for the BAMAN Regional Meeting. As always, these regional meetings are a great way to catch up on the latest industry trends and engage with other leaders in aesthetics. Lianne and Katey had a blast networking and learning from other professionals in the field.

ACE 2025: Meet the Social Media Guru & Client Support

The ACE conference was a major highlight of March! Lianne took center stage with her Meet the Social Media Guru session, where she shared expert advice on building personal brands, growing audiences, and leveraging social media to scale businesses. We also had the pleasure of supporting so many of our amazing clients during ACE, whether it was at their stands or in talks.

The Aesthetics Awards: A Night to Remember

To cap off a spectacular Q1, we attended the Aesthetics Awards– the Oscars of the aesthetics industry! Quirky Frog was lucky enough to be finalists, and while we didn’t take home an award, we had a fabulous time celebrating with other finalists and winners. Huge congratulations to DermaFocus for winning Product of the Year with Plinest® HPT Polynucleotides and to Dr. Steven Land, who helped set up the JCCP, the winner of Best Initiative. The night was filled with celebration, laughter, and recognition for all the incredible work happening in aesthetics.

AMWC Monaco and the Deleo Yacht Experience

As March wraps up, Lianne and Meg are in sunny Monaco attending the AMWC conference. They’re supporting DermaFocus once again, as well as Deleo– who are hosting an exclusive Deleo Yacht Experience aboard the Lady Jersey Yacht. It’s an incredible few days of luxury and learning, and we can’t wait to share all the highlights with you soon.

Welsh Aesthetics Symposium

Finally, as if March wasn’t busy enough, Lianne will be jetting back to the UK for the Welsh Aesthetics Symposium on March 29th, where she’ll be speaking about Marketing 101. Lianne will be sharing tips on how clinics can elevate their marketing, engage their audiences, and drive more patients through their doors. It’s going to be an informative and inspiring session!

As we wrap up Q1, we couldn’t be more excited about what’s to come in the rest of 2025. From new projects to more events and collaborations, Quirky Frog is ready to continue supporting our clients and pushing the boundaries of social media, marketing, and PR in the aesthetics industry.

We hope this round-up gives you a taste of what we’ve been up to, and as always, if you’d like to chat about how we can help elevate your clinic or brand, feel free to reach out. Let’s make Q2 even more amazing!
