Six years. Where do we even begin?

What started as a spark of an idea in June 2019 has since grown into something we never could have imagined: an award-winning, specialist agency trusted by over 100 clinics and aesthetics brands across the UK and beyond. But the heart of what we do? That hasn’t changed one bit.

Let’s take it back to where it all began.

In the early days, Quirky Frog was born out of passion- a genuine desire to help women in business build an online presence, shape their brand identity, and use marketing to show up with confidence. Social media, PR, marketing, and events were our toolkit, and we used them to support incredible female founders who had the skills, the drive, and the dream, but needed a little help turning their vision into something visible.

The aesthetic industry wasn’t even really on our radar… yet.

That all changed at the tail end of 2019, when we met the phenomenal Khatra Paterson of KP Aesthetics. A true inspiration in her own right, Khatra gave us our first real insight into the medical aesthetics world. She needed support with her brand and online presence, and we jumped in with both feet, eager to learn, to elevate, and to explore a space that felt surprisingly under-served when it came to smart and strategic marketing.

Then came 2020.

When lockdown hit, the world stood still- but we didn’t. Instead, we threw ourselves into helping clinics navigate an entirely new digital landscape. While treatments were paused, we were guiding injectors, nurses, and skin specialists through brand refreshes, content creation, skincare sales strategies, and community-building. For so many of our clients, this was the moment their online presence finally clicked into place.

We weren’t just helping clinics survive, we were helping them set up for long-term success.

That period cemented our passion for aesthetics. These weren’t just clients; they were resilient, intelligent, incredibly hard-working women who had dedicated their lives to helping others feel confident in their skin. And they deserved marketing that matched the standard of care they were giving their patients.

Over the next couple of years, we dove deeper into the aesthetics space. We studied the industry inside out. We built strategies specifically tailored to clinics and practitioners. We developed systems that were realistic, effective, and adaptable to life in (and out of) the treatment room. And most importantly, we listened to what they truly needed.

By early 2023, we made it official: Quirky Frog would specialise exclusively in medical aesthetics. We’d found our niche, and it felt like home.

Of course, as the business grew, so did the need for extra hands, and what followed was the building of a dream team.

In July 2022, we welcomed Sinead, our Senior PR Lead, who quickly became the engine behind our growing PR division. Sinead brought structure, skill, and sparkle to our offering. With her background in journalism and her deep understanding of the aesthetic space, she’s since helped secure countless press features, expert commentary opportunities, and speaking slots for our clients.

Just a few months later, in January 2023, Megan joined the team. From the get-go, she brought creative flair, amazing comms, and the kind of client-first mindset we love. Megan quickly became an essential part of our business, playing a huge role in building seamless, results-driven marketing experiences for some of our most well-known clients.

By May 2023, our social media department was ready to level up, so we brought in not one but two new creatives: Georgia and Gee. Georgia, with her passion for seamless and aesthetically pleasing content creation, became our go-to for socials that’s not only on-brand but beautiful. Gee brought a new flavour to all things marketing for the business. Together, they brought a new level of polish and power to our offering.

A year later, in July 2024, we were growing again. We welcomed Maddi, Roan and Jemima- three brilliant additions who each brought their own spark. Maddi stepped in with a love for creativity and wellness that’s taken our content to new heights. Jemima, with her love for social media, has helped create hundreds of stunning and informative pieces of content. Roan, the first boy on our team (!!!) brings expertise to all things digital marketing, making your paid ads generate business!

Each time we expanded, we didn’t just add to the team, we added people who genuinely care. People who love our clients and know it takes more than a pretty feed to build a sustainable brand. People who believe in helping practitioners grow businesses they’re proud of.

Now here we are, June 2025. Six years on, and we’re expanding again.

We’ve supported over 100 clinics and brands, ranging from solo injectors to multi-site medical clinics to global aesthetics companies. We’ve been involved in product launches, clinic openings, viral campaigns, press features, speaker panels, trade events, and more behind-the-scenes skincare shoots than we can count.

We’ve stepped on stage. We’ve won awards. We’ve had our work published. And, most importantly, we’ve helped clinic owners feel seen, supported, and excited about their business again.

But what makes us most proud? That we’ve stayed true to the original spark. The passion. The people-first approach. The belief that when you give women the right support, tools, and confidence to build their brand, it changes everything.

So, to every client who’s trusted us, every team member who’s joined us, and every friend or family member who’s cheered us on along the way: thank you.
