What we got up to April–June 2025
Somehow, we’ve blinked and Quarter 2 is over. And as always, it’s been an absolute whirlwind of events, exciting projects, amazing clients, travel, birthdays, and big wins (with a few tears along the way).
So here’s your behind-the-scenes look at what the Quirky Frog team has been up to these past three months.
Industry Events & Speaking Gigs Galore
We’ve been out there. If there was an event happening in aesthetics, chances are, a Quirky Frog was nearby.
Lianne kicked off the quarter by speaking at the Welsh Aesthetics Symposium, where she delivered a brilliant session on marketing and personal brand. From tips on connecting with patients through content to how to show up authentically online, she did what she does best: cut through the noise with actual, practical value.
Lianne also attended Wigmore Presents, and it did not disappoint. From watching Professor Sebastian Cotofana take the stage for a world-class anatomy masterclass (seriously, the man makes facial structure feel like poetry), to an entire day dedicated to Longevity in Medical Aesthetics, the conference was packed with valuable insight for practitioners at every stage of their career. Huge kudos to the Wigmore Medical team for curating such a high-level, forward-thinking programme that was refreshingly practical while still pushing boundaries. Educational, inspiring, and exceptionally executed, we’re already looking forward to the next one.
From there, Lianne and Sinead attended Aesthetic Medicine Live London, showing up in full support of our fabulous clients like Deleo, Sofwave, Dr. Steven Land, Amy Bird, and more. From cheering on panels to catching up with press and brand partners, we did the rounds- and somehow managed to drink our body weight in coffee in between it all.
We also had the pleasure of attending the BAMAN Spring Symposium, where Gee and Jemima soaked up a full day of knowledge, inspiration and important conversation. From exploring the psychological impact of skin conditions like psoriasis and eczema to discovering the power of recognising when you’re downplaying your own potential; it was a beautifully balanced programme of clinical insight and personal growth. Sharron Bennett delivered a stand-out session on “Demystifying the Difference (or Lack of) Between Toxin Brands”, helping to debunk common myths and deepen understanding around product selection and patient safety. And of course, we can’t shout loudly enough about Amy Bird, who stepped confidently into her new role as BAMAN Chair and played a huge part in delivering such a thought-provoking, supportive and educational day. Events like this are such a joy to attend—not just for the CPD, but for the community they foster in the aesthetics world.
Lianne’s Skincare Journey
Let’s talk results. This quarter, Lianne tried a full course of LaseMD by Lutronic at KP Aesthetics, and is officially obsessed. Three treatments in, and she’s seeing a huge change in tone and texture. But the real game-changer? Adding ALLSKIN MED’s barrier repair protocol into the mix.
She’s glowing. In fact, her skin now wakes up looking like porcelain. Less redness, no sensitivity, and that skincare glow we all aim for. We’re living for it.
New Faces, Sad Goodbyes & Exciting Next Steps
This quarter also came with some team changes that had us reaching for the tissues and the party poppers.
We said a heartfelt goodbye to Katey and Roan, who’ve been such an important part of the Quirky Frog squad. We love you, we miss you, and we’re so proud of everything you’ve brought to the business.
On the bright side, we also welcomed Angelina to the team! She’s looking after all of our accounts, keeping things in order and has been an absolute breath of fresh air.
And the hiring continues! We’re in the middle of onboarding even more Frogs. New starters are coming soon, and we can’t wait to share who’s joining the chaos creative fun.
Hypo21, Content Days & Some Serious Skin Science
We’ve been spreading the skincare love far and wide this quarter, sending out HYPO21 boxes to some of the biggest names in the industry. We’ve already had some incredible feedback, and trust us, this product is going places.
Speaking of HYPO21, we also organised a full brand shoot with the amazing Kirsty Bate Photography to capture fresh, clean visuals that match the magic of what’s inside the bottle. And while we were at it, we figured it was time to update our Quirky Frog team headshots too.
And between all of that, we’ve been out and about with clients old and new, planning, filming, and capturing the kind of content that actually converts. Whether it’s a full strategy day or a behind-the-scenes shoot, we’ve loved seeing our clients shine on camera.
Hale Private Clinic Opened Its Doors
One of the most exciting moments this quarter was seeing Hale Private Clinic finally open. From concept to creation, we’ve been involved in the PR and marketing journey from the very beginning, and it’s been so rewarding to see it all come to life.
There have been some fantastic events at the clinic already, and trust us, there’s more to come. If you haven’t checked out what Khatra and the team are building in Cheshire, now’s the time.
Birthdays, Podcasts & Personal Wins
We’ve had a lot to celebrate this quarter. Sinead, Georgia and Lianne all celebrated birthdays, so yes, there’s been cake, Prosecco, and presents!
We’ve also continued filming episodes for our podcast, which is coming very soon. We’ve been chatting about everything from branding and burnout to standing out online. Keep your eyes peeled for launch details ????
We also had a very proud Quirky Frog moment in June, as our very own Sinead Gorman landed a double-page feature in Aesthetic Medicine magazine. Her article, titled “Making Your Clinic Truly Inclusive”, explored the importance of creating a welcoming and representative environment for all patients, particularly LGBTQIA+ communities. From inclusive language and visual representation to meaningful Pride Month activity (no rainbow-washing here, thank you!), the piece offered practical, thoughtful advice for clinics looking to do better and be better. Huge shoutout to Sinead for continuing to lead the conversation on authentic, values-led marketing in aesthetics.
We’ve Been Everywhere
Out of office, our passports are looking very well-travelled.
This quarter, the team have taken some well-earned breaks and enjoyed proper sunshine in Barcelona, Ibiza, Santorini, Montenegro, and beyond. At QF, we believe rest fuels creativity, and we’re here for the work-life balance.
New Clients, Big Moments, and Roadshow Magic
We’ve had the pleasure of introducing some incredible new clients to the Quirky Frog family this quarter. Say hello to:
• HYPO21: a product that’s redefining aftercare and skin support
• RAM Institute: a brand taking education in aesthetics to the next level
• A Little Enhancement: based in beautiful Exeter, and full of heart
• Dr. Sobia Syed and Dr. Hussain Plastic Surgery: two powerhouse practitioners at the top of their game
We’re honoured to support their growth and bring their stories to life through smart strategy, content, and PR.
And finally, a big shoutout to DermaFocus and the amazing DF Roadshow. Our girls Megan, Jemima, Sinead (and Roan) have all smashed it with talks this quarter, sharing their expertise on social media and marketing with clinic owners all over the country. Standing ovation, please!
Wrapping Up Q2: What’s Next?
We say it every time, but we really do mean it- thank you to all of our clients, followers, friends, collaborators in aesthetics for making this quarter what it was.
As we move into Q3, we’ve got launches to reveal, team growth to celebrate, events to attend, and plenty more skin to glow up. And of course, we’ll be bringing you along for every step of the journey.
If you’re ready to elevate your content, PR, brand or strategy, we’re here. Book a discovery call, drop us a DM, or just hit reply to this blog. We’re always up for a chat.
With love, sunscreen, and slightly sore feet from running between conference stands,
